“Splash-Ink Crabs” is a work from the artist’s early years. It is well-known throughout calligraphy and painting circles that there have been numerous famous artists who painted crabs through the ink-and-wash technique. However, there has not been a single person who painted crabs through the splash-ink technique. This crab painting that you see today was accomplished through a painting method unprecedented in history. It realistically portrays the form of the crabs yet still maintains the natural grace that springs from splash-ink painting. Splash-ink charm on a minute scale can be seen from the tips of every angle of every leg.

這幅《潑墨螃蟹》是H.H.第三世多杰羌佛早期創作的。眾所周知在書畫圈，有許多著名的藝術家是運用水墨手法畫蟹。然而，沒有一個人是運用潑墨手法畫螃蟹的。今天你所看到的這幅作品的繪畫手法是在繪畫歷史上前所未有的。它真實地描繪了螃蟹的形態但仍體現螃蟹的自然優雅，這就是潑墨畫。這一幅潑墨畫的魅力在於小範圍內能從各個角度看到各種細節。
